The flowers of Macleania pentaptera, a plant from Ecuador. It is an epiphyte, which means that it is a plant that grows on other plants, not from the soil.
These are the flowers of Anthopterus wardii. The Ericaceae family, of which it is a member, contains blueberries, and this species is known as the Neotropical Blueberry. It is found in Panama, Colombia and Ecuador.
